Together we can support MIOCA!

It will be 4 years since we have heard our dear Dee Ogunyemi's voice and it is because of her we raise funds to support MIOCA's mission. Dee fought ovarian cancer for 2 years and passed at the age of 62 on March 28th, 2019. She was a teacher, a faithful soul and a lover of dance. She called us all her " lovelies" and she could light up a room like no other. In February 2022 her 4th grandson was born and it made our hearts ache that she would miss out on knowing that baby and that he will never know the amazing person that Dee was. Ovarian cancer took that away from her and took her away from us.

With each year that passes we are more committed to fight. Our fight is to bring awareness to ovarian cancer. To help the other "Teal" Sisters Dee was so connected with who continue to fight this wicked disease and to help ensure that no other person misses out on meeting a grandchild, attending a wedding, eating another supper and just enjoying life.
